Found in conifers, such as pine trees. This natural occuring terpene is often found in cleaning products, most notably pinesol. Pinene has also been touted as having the ability to be used as a biofuel in spark ignition engines. Known to be anti-inflammatory and acts as a bronchodilator which is said to make breathing easier by relaxing the lung muscle and widening airways.
